Initiatives

The Lewis Foundation of Classical Ballet is currently working towards the construction of an international-standard dance studio. Once the studio is running, classes will be held several times a week for students coming from various backgrounds, giving them the opportunity to explore movement and dance as an expressive medium, and to enhance their technical and artistic skills in dance. The studio would provide a space for teaching under-privileged children, giving them the right environment to develop their skills. This will in turn open up their ability to learn and educate themselves, giving them the motivation, inspiration and enthusiasm to reach out and pursue their passions.

The studio will also benefit those dancers training with Yana. Perfection in dance can only be achieved through regular intensive practice in a well-equipped, technically safe environment. The proposed studio will be on par with international dance studios and will prove an invaluable asset to the Lewis Foundation of Classical Ballet.
