We operate various funds and programs that need your generous support.
The Academy brings the highest caliber training in Classical Ballet and allied dance forms to students from all sections of the society. The Company enthralls audiences through performances bringing art of the highest quality to audiences nation-wide. Our Arts in Education program brings dance and music from various cultures and through a structured syllabus assists Schools in creating fully formed, well-rounded students. Our community programmes foster good health through movement based classes. All this and more is not possible without your enthusiastic support and donation.
You may donate towards specific programs of your liking or towards funds that help us support other activities of the trust. Program and fund specific details are mentioned below:
The 2011 Student Showcase
The bi-annual showcase where all students of the Academy get to perform on stage with the Company and Company II dancers. Students get firsthand experience of performing on stage and what goes behind putting a big production together. Following with our tradition, the first day of the showcase is open free to all NGO’s who work with the less privileged children. Over a 1000 children from this background get to experience a live artistic performance. The second day of the show is open to the general public. With the gargantuan effort required to prepare, produce, direct and manage a show like this with over 400 performers, we incur substantial expenses in arranging extra rehearsals for the students, administrative staff to manage the show, venue booking fees, printing and designing, costumes, dress rehearsals, backdrops, pre-cursor events, light and sound. All this is not possible without your enthusiastic support.
