What would you do if a might tornado sweeps across the plains where you live and you are transported into a magical world? Would you befriend witches and wizards? Would you like the company of lions and scarecrows and travel through a haunted forest?
Young Dorothy and her dog Toto find themselves swept away from her dear family during one such tornado. In this magical world where she lands, she befriends a Good Witch but invites the wrath of the Wicked Witch, who vows to destroy Dorothy.On the advice given by the Good Witch, she begins her journey in search of the Wizard of Oz, who would help her to get back home. Along with her three friends– a Scarecrow without a brain, a Tin Man without a heart, and a Lion without courage in the haunted forest– Dorothy travels to the Emerald city.
Will she find the Wizard? Will the Wicked Witch stop her from returning back home to her uncle and aunt? Come, and find out as Dorothy and Toto take the adventurous journey in this year’s ballet production, Oz – The Ballet, inspired from L.Frank Baum’s book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
