Student Coordinator
Join our vibrant team as the Student Coordinator / Administrator/, where you play a crucial role in the daily operations of our ballet classes across various locations.
This position is the face of our school, providing a warm welcome to students and parents, and ensuring the security and smooth conduct of classes. You will be required to work Sundays, with travel to multiple locations in the afternoon and evenings. Travel expenses to different locations are fully reimbursed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome students and parents, providing a friendly face and supportive environment at various class locations.
- Ensure the strict adherence to security procedures, specifically verifying and managing the handover of students to authorized guardians.
- Accompany younger students to and from facilities as needed, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and student absenteeism logs using Google Sheets.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings between parents and teachers using Google Calendar.
- Manage and reconcile attendance with coupon usage for adult classes, updating registers as needed.
- Assist in organizing class materials and environments to foster a structured yet nurturing setting for ballet classes.
- Assist in internal events and competitions ensuring a certain level of participation among students.
- Handle parent communications efficiently on platforms such as WhatsApp, ensuring inquiries and notifications are addressed promptly and professionally.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 1 – 3 years prior work experience in schools, pre-schools or similar environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Kannada.
- High level of proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Calendar.
- Ability to travel between class locations in the afternoon and evening.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a trustworthy and professional demeanor.
Desirable Attributes:
- A strong sense of responsibility , punctuality and attention to safety.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of varying class schedules.
- Confident and capable of handling on-the-spot queries and concerns.
- Prior working experience in schools, pre-schools or similar environment will be an added advantage.
